The fit is exactly how they said and the built in harness is great. It is pretty easy to put on and get zipped up. The zipper on the top makes it very secure and easy to control my dog when he gets excited.

She has a pacemaker so nothing can be around her neck. this is wide enough to not be tight. Of course, she looks good in it.
